Description Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business is seeking a Technical Support Specialist. Location: New York, NY Type of Position: Contract. Description: The desired candidate will function as a Developer/Production Support of Client Data Applications. These applications are used to onboard clients of the Bank. The successful candidate will be focusing on Java/J2ee and Oracle development. With regards to Java/J2ee, the candidate will need to have XML, javascript, and MQ series/JMS (either messagin tool is acceptable). Experience with HTML and Servlets is a plus. The Back End of the application is on Oracle database. Regarding Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL and stored procedures will be needed. Any additional development experience on Oracle is a plus. Lastly, all candidates must be proficient in Unix Scripting to execute batch jobs. The desired candidates time will be equally split between Java/J2ee and Oracle development/support.
