This position is usually under direction of engineer.

Additional Desired Skills

Existing Quality Assurance / Software testing experience.

Experience with Lotus Notes would be helpful.

Sr. Database Architect/Systems Developer in New York, NY

ETF Database schema design normalization and Systems Developer.

. Knowledge of ETFs, benchmarks, equities, corporate actions, tick capture, asset class categorization, cusips, dividends, and other trading related knowledge.

- Build templates for use in loading data into fact sheets, etc.

. New Tools for automating data capture.

. Excel Templates for calculation of intermediary data before loading into db.

20 - 50 % yearly Bonus

Experience: Bachelor's degree and extensive related financial/technical experience.

3-5 years experience with stored procedure programming, data modeling, replication, performance monitoring, optimization and database administration

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The individual in this position will perform NAS administration functions including filer installation, configuration and management to assist in the support of 300+ NAS filers and 3500TB of file-based storage in NA. Responsibilities:
- Participate as a NAS support member to implement ONTAP OS systems 7G, GX, VMware, Flex Volumes, and Data Replications based upon best practices and company standards.
- Participate in design, research and development effort leading to improvements to the existing and future NAS production backup environment
- Provide Day-To-Day support (Level- 1 and Level-2) This includes: Performing daily system health checkouts, Hardware installs and upgrade, configuration of Vfiler/Qtree/snapmirror/snapshots, Provisioning of storage allocations, capacity management, data migrations, performance analysis and management
