Job duties will include writing test protocols and testing procedures, performing testing, taking data, and preparing test reports.
May also include traditional technician tasks such as: constructing test fixtures with both electrical and mechanical technical demands, troubleshooting circuits and assemblies, and performing daily standardized tests.

Strong technical, electrical, computer and communication skills are required.
Technical Skills: Defined skill areas, specialized abilities, proficiency in process(es) or functions(s), breadth & depth of practices, principles, programs.
Traditional technician skills are required.
Skills such as: operating thermal chambers, constructing printed circuits, breadboards, test fixtures. Servicing or repairing electronic circuits. Also a high proficiency in operating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, serial communications capture devices.
