PURPOSE
To deliver job role focused training and advice on desktop products in order to enable clients to derive maximum benefit from their services.
SCOPE AND IMPACT
The role works nationally within a country, in a team of peers in close cooperation with the account teams and migration project managers. Its core function is to facilitate the migration of customers from legacy products to the Thomson One solution by delivering stand up training and training delivered via WebEx. PURPOSE
To deliver job role focused training and advice on desktop products in order to enable clients to derive maximum benefit from their services.
SCOPE AND IMPACT
The role works nationally within a country, in a team of peers in close cooperation with the account teams and migration project managers. Its core function is to facilitate the migration of customers from legacy products to the Thomson One solution by delivering stand up training and training delivered via WebEx. The major part of working time will be spent at client sites and the role requires extensive travel locally and nationally (approximately 50 - 70%). The role requires a pro-active approach with very good understanding of clients needs with sound and broad knowledge Financial Markets theory and practice. Specific emphasis will be placed on wealth management, equity sales & trading functions, investment management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Is responsible for the overall end user satisfaction within the allocated migration accounts
Organize and deliver workflow based training sessions to clients via stand up training and WebEx
Gather complete information about users including job roles & preferred asset classes and preparing this information for entry into Siebel
Co-operate closely with training management, project managers and sales account teams
Track all activities with clients in a timely and accurate manner
Initiate and organize events at client sites
Make sure that targets regarding quality and quantity of training are met for accounts under responsibility
Provide feedback to the migration team on clients' use of products, future service needs, internal relationship issues / conflicts and competitive situations
Consolidate customer feedback regarding product enhancements and to pass it on
Keep up to date with developments in the financial markets and product offering

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
BA / BS or equivalent work experience in the financial markets, good general knowledge of major financial markets practice and theory, ideally experience with real-time market data products. 1-3 years of experience in a financial markets role would be an advantage. Training experience is highly desired. Series 7 and 63 licenses would be a good indicator of relevant experience. IT or technology training knowledge with complex financial applications and Excel would be beneficial.
