Linux/Unix Windows Engineer in NEW YORK, NY

Requirements:
&#149; BA/BS in Computer Science <br></p>
&#149; 4+ years experience with Unix Systems Administration<br></p>
&#149; Expertise in at least one scripting language, preferably Perl Strong<br></p>
&#149; Understanding of IP fundamentals<br></p>
&#149; Flexibility to be on call and occasionally work after hours or over a
weekend<br></p>
&#149; Experience with databases, MySQL, PostgreSQL<br></p>
&#149; Experience with Windows administration, SAMBA domain controllers<br></p>
&#149; Understanding of data storage concepts and backups<br></p>
&#149; Good communication and documentation skills<br></p>
&#149; Great attention to detail and the ability to learn new things Be able to work as part of a team and individually<br></p>
&#149; Must be able to start immediately<br></p>
Bonus: <br></p>
&#149; Experience with Cisco hardware<br></p>
&#149; Good understanding of iptables, HA configurations and monitoring<br></p>
&#149; Familiarity with VMWare and ability to automate test environments<br></p>
&#149; Experience maintaining an Asterisk VoIP system Web application experience<br></p>
&#149; Some PHP or Ruby<br></p>
Work experience at a college/university Help Desk preferred. <br></p>
