Our client, a global professional services firm with more than 1,400 professionals based in locations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst for their New York City headquarters.
The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a team lead in planning, testing, and configuration of Agresso ERP modules in addition to deploying new functionality. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance. Prior Agresso experience is a huge plus but not required.<p>
<b/>Key Responsibilities:</b><p>
• Liaise with Corporate Service Functional Leaders and Business units Leaders and Technology Teams to support Agresso.<p>
• Maintain a strong relation with users to understand detailed requirements & business processes.<p>
• Collaborate with other team members in supporting Agresso solutions utilized to execute key business activities.<p>
• Provide routine application support, including ongoing maintenance and system upgrades.<p>
• Analyzes and design, pilot/testing, implementation, communication, rollout and follow-up, bug & fault management.<p>
• Writing functional specifications and providing leadership/coordination in the design of reports, forms, interfaces, custom programs and conversions.<p>
• Responsible for configuration of the business systems software & the mentoring of other team members responsible for system configuration.<p>

Experience: • BS/BA in a business related discipline (preferred in Finance background).<p>
• Minimum of 5 years working with ERP software in a functional / analytical role (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle or similar).<p>
• Financial background desired, particularly in reporting.<p>
• Some SQL knowledge.<p>
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<p>
• Capacity to mentor peers and contractors, providing expert technical direction and advice on analysis approach.<p>
• Experience in coordinating support and project activities in a fast paced environment.<p>
