The ETL Developer will develop the required execution processing logic (workflows, control logic, parameters, etc.) and production jobs that will be used to execute the ETL process in production and will work with CIS Operational areas and his/her teammates to implement these jobs into production. It is the ETL Developers responsibility to thoroughly understand all ETL and CIS standards and procedures that are applicable to his/her work and to apply those standards and procedures as required. This includes development of complete and thorough test plans, adherence to ETL naming standards and guidelines and addressing all required ETL/program design & code walk-thrus.

The ETL Developer must also continue to develop his/her knowledge and expertise in the use of the technical tools and facilities that can/will be used to support his/her development efforts. This will be done through hands-on experience and self-learning and through informal/formal training.

The ETL Developer will be responsible for on-going support of the production data warehouse jobs and will be required to respond promptly during off-hours to address production problems when called upon. The ETL Developer will communicate with the DAT Mgr to provide accurate and timely status of his/her assignments and to provide information/status on any major issues encountered on these assignments. Readily understands requirements and develops and implements ETL programs/logic that meets all the defined requirements. Effectively uses the available ETL/development tools and programming languages to develop his/her ETL code, to test & debug the code on a timely basis and to develop code that executes efficiently with no logic errors. Insures that all ETL program code/logic, etc. he/she develops meets all applicable coding standards and is developed, tested and implemented according to all ETL and CIS standards and procedures. Performs all administrative responsibilities as required on a timely basis. This includes weekly time and status reporting, meeting attendance and any other administrative responsibilities as defined by the Manager, the dept or the corporation.

Treasury Project Manager in New York, NY
