Responsiblities: ·Manage multiple software development projects of different sizes and urgency simultaneously from concept, requirements, development to product implementation ·Partner with the Product Manager and stakeholders to document the product's vision and the project's scope and translate that vision into an actionable project plan ·Oversee vendors to develop, enhance and maintain the product ·Find creative solutions to technology, product and organizational challenges ·Responsible for project schedules and confirming each is tracked against plan. ·Manage and report project metrics for scheduling, costs, risks and resources ·Oversee and track project budget against actual costs ensuring that variances are communicated to the stakeholders ·Coordinates and conducts regular effective and efficient meetings to review project status, resolve issues and address risks · Ensures project risks are identified and management plans are establishedIn depth knowledge of software development Deep knowledge of project management demonstrated by 5-7 years of as Project Manager, or Program Manager Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, plus Vendor procurement and management experience Interactive product development experience, preferably Rational Unified Process (RUP) experience or knowledge Experience working with external software vendors, including offshore vendors, and in utilizing both traditional and rapid/lightweight project Demonstrated skills in leadership, negotiation, conflict management, communications, organizational and critical thinking Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required.
