Consulting position to provide engineering solutions and strategic advisement for a Network and Information Security Project. Looking for senior level network engineer/architect with a strong security background. Activities include analysis, design, and deployment of system and network security solutions:
Experience: . Represent Network and Security concerns on various project teams
. Evaluate and recommend new and emerging network and security products and technologies
. Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services
Assist with development and interpretation of security policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Candidates should have extensive experience with Network Infrastructure & Security implementations (active directory, LAN/WAN, Wireless). Foundry gear knowledge is desired.
Must have strong Active Directory experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or the equivalent combination of education
Strong technical background in IT security and an in-depth understanding of network architecture and protocols; strong administrative experience with Microsoft, Solaris and Linux operating systems, including script development
Strong communication (written, oral, and presentation) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively on technical issues with non-technical personnel; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and across organizational boundaries are required.
Experience with a variety of contemporary security applications, security practice or product certifications,
At least 4 years of system, network and/or application security experience
Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security
Project management experience desired
Solid writing skills required
Appropriate industry certifications (MCSE, CCNA, CCNP desired)
**This person will be expected to work on site apporximately 3 days a week and the rest can be remote**
