Software Engineer Windows C# & C++, FIX
Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting a dynamic individual to join their staff as a Software Engineer. The qualified candidate must be a windows systems developer with backend development experience in the financial community.
Responsibilities:
Develop major systems that provide functionality used by or interacting with core trading system
Serve as subject matter expert on specific internal programming techniques; provide advanced support to member community in areas of software responsibility
Provide support for core business applications to both internal and external developers
Design and develop multi-threaded C# and C++ software for both real-time and non real-time applications
Interpret client and option industry requirements to provide business solutions
Understand client system interfaces to integrate developed applications
Deliver software following client Software Development Methodology
Required Experience
Must Have:
o Hands on C#, C++ development experience
o Strong Multi-Threading experience
o Hands on experience with FIX protocol
o Intermediate database experience with SQL Server 2005
o Strong mathematical \ analytical skills
Candidates must have backend development experience with a financial services background
