Software Quality Management Associate
Job Description
** Candidates must have financial industry experience (stock and options)
Our client is currently recruiting a dynamic Software Quality Management Associate to join their staff in their Quality and Process Management Department.
Primary Responsibilities include:
-End to end functional testing of order routing system and spread trading applications
-Acceptance and regression testing, using automation where possible
-Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle
-Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases
-Provide Level 2 support for Market Operations
Skills required:
2-5 years of testing experience
Knowledge of the Software development life-cycle.
Use of QA Automation tools.
Familiarity with Process and Procedures as they pertain to test and industry standards.
Independent Testing of Client Server based applications.
Experience with developing test scripts and test plans.
Financial Industry experience (stocks and options)
Knowledge of and experience working with the FIX Protocol
Must be self-starter and have the ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong analytical skills and multi-tasking required.
