Our client, a global professional services firm with more than 1,400 employees based in locations across North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, is seeking an experienced SQL DBA for their New York City headquarters.<p>
<b/>Responsibilities:</b><p>
• Provide database administration support for a variety of database technologies in conjunction with applications which use the software.<P>
• Manage the storage requirements, user accounts, login security/permissions, back-ups, recovery, import/export and replication of data.<p>
• Manage local and remote server environments. Suggest and implement best practices.<p>
• Assist in the designing, planning, and implementation of disaster recovery policies and procedures.<p>
• Support the existing Microsoft Cluster Environment for SQL Server 2005.<p>

Experience: • Minimum of 3 years related experience.<p>
• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent a must have.<p>
• Certifications: MCP/MCDBA preferred.<p>
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2003/2008 Architecture and clustering.<p>
•Experience in working with infrastructure in a data center environment and adherence to change management and other service level agreements.<p>
