UNIVERSAL Technologies, LLC is seeking a Security Systems Developer to join our Albany, NY team. The primary focus of this position involves the analysis and research of new security technologies, providing expertise in the integration of SSO, provisioning and directory integration within a large technological environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security systems as well as functioning as act as a technical lead in the implementation of an identity management project. Responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintenance of the SALUTE security system.
- Development of security modules in support of various application development requirements; Development of application usage reports.
- Overall technical assistance to application development and security staff. Assisting security staff in becoming proficient on the Identity Management toolset.
- Responsibility for migrating security data from current platforms to the enterprise wide Identity Management security platform.
- Development of security modules in support of new 'user self registration' procedures currently being developed.
To be considered for the position, candidates must possess the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in software development utilizing Visual Basic 2 tier, 3 tier and Web based. Developing and maintaining applications built using Visual Basic 6 2 tier, Visual Basic 6 3 tier, Visual Basic ASP.
- Experience in software development utilizing Crystal reports.
- Possession of an MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) Certification
- Possession of an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) Certification in .NET technology
- Experience utilizing Biometric technologies for user authentication.
- Experience utilizing RSA APIs.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Visual Sourcesafe.
- Experience developing Installshield, install from the Web (Version 7-9) to distribute client software in an environment exceeding 10,000 workstations.
- Excellent English language verbal communication skills.
- Experience with RSA Cleartrust.
- Experience working with enterprise wide security solutions in an environment exceeding 15,000 users.
