The ideal candidate should - be able to interact with development team to understand the business needs as well as the technology of the system.- Write test plans for unit, component, and system integration, test case automation, test execution, validation, and documentation of results.- Evaluates and test new or modified software programs to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to establishment guidelines. - have domain knowledge of the financial industry. Experience with testing enterprise application in the J2EE and database environments is desired. - must have thorough knowledge of the entire SDLC, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and thorough working knowledge of developing, maintaining and executing test strategies/plans/cases. Experience with automated testing tools such as Mercury LoadRunner, Test Director desired.- Coordinate with project manager for UAT testing and getting signoffs. - Help in producing metric reports e.g.
