This is a job for an extremely capable engineer, with in-depth expertise in Microsoft technology, very strong Object Oriented design skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to function as a technical lead mentoring other developers.

" Minimum BS degree in Computer Science or related program.
B. Technical Requirements
" Extensive experience with .NET on a number of mission critical projects.
" Strong C# skills.
" Excellent SQL skills and strong knowledge of relational database theory.
" Significant experience and expertise in development across all tiers of large-scale enterprise applications - from presentation layer, through application layers, through the access of back-end corporate resources.
" Solid OO background and expertise; detailed, practical knowledge of classic OO patterns for enterprise software development.
" Thorough understanding of transaction management issues in a .NET environment.
" Detailed knowledge of web service technologies and their implementation in a .NET environment.
" Experience with asynchronous messaging, especially IBM MQ, a plus.
" Significant experience in developing insurance applications a major plus.
" Experience developing in non-Microsoft languages and environments, especially using OO, a very significant plus.
C. Technical and Professional Experience
" 5+ years experience using Microsoft technologies.
" Significant experience as a hands-on technical lead preferred.
