The candidate would provide QA leadership for a data warehousing project for a financial client with P&L recording. Desirable technical skills include: Data warehousing, DB2,
Unix Shell scripting, and Windows Client Apps. Automated testing using
WinRunner could be involved. Good communication skills required.
Leadership skills desirable but the combination of technical skills in
Data Warehousing and Testing is the key to this assignment. Familiarity
with the Star Schema and Snowflake Schema for Data Warehousing and ETL
are desirable.
Experience: -4 year degree in a technical discipline.
-Familiarity with Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
Candidate must not only have testing experience but must be able to
articulate elements of a testing approach/methodology that they have
learned through their experience and capable of absorbing and the company they are representing.
Candidate must have a work history that shows they stay with companies
for significant periods of time. A candidate who's job history shows
repeated contract renewals or coming back to a company that they worked
for in the past is desirable.
