Our client has an immediate need for a Web Developer to assist with designing, modifying, developing, implementing and managing software applications. As a Web Developer, your responsibilities will include:
• Handling change requests and providing quick and efficient solutions
• Analyzing business requirements and transforming them into technical design
• Implementing the design to develop and testing the functional requirements
• Source code maintenance
• Administering development and production environments, including websites and databases
• Continuously monitoring website and database performance
• Proactively providing ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the site and the business.
• Interacting with business development and marketing team to understand the business requirements
• Providing effort estimates and prioritizing tasks
• Providing timely functional releases so as to meet fast changing business requirements
• Assessing risk and impact on the existing system that may arise due to any requirements or functional changes

Experience: To be considered for this role, the incumbent must possess the following:
• Experience with .NET Framework 1.1 and higher
• Strong understanding and hands on experience of C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET using Visual Studio.NET 2003
• Experience with maintaining SQL Server 2000 objects and handling performance issues
• Knowledge of XML, XHTML, XMLHTTP is a plus
