Network Engineer in Buffalo, NY

(1) Microsoft SCCM expertise (2) Scripting ability - AutoIT (3) Software packaging and distribution experience (4) Noell ZenWorks - DeskTop or server Project leadership for large and/or complex, internal or client driven projects. Work with overall project manager and client to understand project priorities and sequence responsible tasks accordingly. Ability to leverage and work with matrixed resources. Communicate within the project team to set deliverables and expectations for responsible activities as they relate to time and resource requirements. Provide accurate and timely status reports for on-going projects and initiatives. Plan, organize allocate resources and manage projects using the Artemis Project View system. Provide direction, leadership and guidance to integrate and implement systems supporting company and systems initiatives. The position plays a strategic role in bringing continuity and standards to technical infrastructure being implemented across various platforms. Provide feedback from project experiences to other areas within IT in the on-going process of teh creation, evolution, and refinement of departmental computing technical and procedural policies. Understand and embrace the use of internal bank control /communication systems including but not limited to the Peregrine problem change control, and iventory systems and Artemis ProjectView and TrackView. Educate client areas in technology directions, standards, and processes so that they have the knowledge and ability to leverage technology resources and delivery channels. Provide relevbant communications that originate from the network computing systems and telecommunications departments to supported client areas and offer assistance in determining client impact.
