Summary of Position: Experience: This position requires an individual with:
- Minimum of five to seven years technical experience or equivalent with four years or more years experience in Linux systems, focusing on Redhat, and/or HP-UX, Solaris, Operating Systems Programming Support.
- Bachelors? degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Linux and/or HP, Solaris Server Networking, HP-UX, Solaris Server Operations and shell Programming, Linux Performance Tuning, MQ-Series, Veritas Volume Manager & Filing System, Linux Tools/Utilities, IBM Websphere Application Server, VMWARE, is highly desired.
- Knowledge and experience with clustering technologies (IBM HACMP/Sun Cluster/Veritas Cluster) is a plus.
- Installation and customization experience of Linux Redhat enterprise servers. RDP deployment is also highly desired with a high degree of proficiency with Shell programming and Perl or C Programming language.
- Any Unix Security experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Enterprise monitoring tools (BMC Patrol, Openview) is desired.
-Knowledge of Enterprise scheduling packages (Autosys, Control M) is desired.
