. Work with staff on developing usage models for Rational RequisitePro and ClearQuest.
. Administer RequisitePro and ClearQuest to implement the usage models.
. Work with staff on integration with RequisitePro and ClearQuest.
. Work with system administrators to support the Rational infrastructure.
. Educate/knowledge transfer to tools administrators.
. Educate/knowledge transfer to business and technical staff on process and tool usage.
. Work with administrators on installing/configuring Rational Client tools.
. Work with staff in adopting a RUP process for the agency.
. Work with staff on defining and implementing the role of process engineer.
. Work with staff on implementing ClearCase.
. Work with staff on integrating ClearQuest and ClearCase to support activity based management.
. Work with architecture group to insure processes and artifacts used support the overall enterprise vision/direction.
. Work with staff on implementing and mentoring Rational testing tools.
. Work with DBA staff regarding data repositories for Rational tools.
. Aid with capacity planning as the implementation of the tools becomes agency wide.
Experience: Requirement
Must have two years of experience with 4th generation language development tools
Two years of experience in: Developing large mission critical applications using Client/Server implementation 3-Tier design, development and deployment including RAD/JAD methodology Knowledge transfer, transition of systems and mentoring Intra/Inter Net deployment
Desirable Experience Preferred for These Positions Good communication and interpersonal skills
2 to 5 (or more) years experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP) in the role of a process engineer
Certified Specialist for Rational Unified Process
2 to 5 (or more) years experience with configuring/administering RequisitePro
2 to 5 (or more) years experience with configuring/administering ClearQuest
2 to 5 (or more) years experience with configuring/administering ClearCase
2 to 5 (or more) years experience with configuring/administering Test Manager.
2 to 5 (or more) years experience with configuring/administering Functional Tester and Robot
Certified Administrator for ClearCase for Windows Certified Administrator for ClearQuest
2 to 5 (or more) engagements involving satisfactory knowledge/skill transfer for RUP and Rational Tools At least 3 separate engagements involving the installation, configuration and administrational of Rational tools, at least two of which must have included knowledge transfer.
