Our client, a downtown based web publishing company, has an immediate need for a Business Analyst on a long-term consulting basis. The Business Analyst will be a key member an enterprise-wide project that will be evolving current web publishing systems into more sophisticated systems. The Business Analyst will work closely with the web development team in gathering and analyzing requirements for the new development systems. The Business Analyst will also act as a liaison between the technology and business teams, working daily with developers, publishers, product managers and marketing managers. The candidate will also play in active role in providing input on web development solutions and assisting with Quality Assurance, QA.

-Experience with data analysis and technical writing.
-Strong web publishing or web development and Quality Assurance background preferred.
-Database skills with SQL Server is a plus.
-Knowledge of the software development life-cycle is a huge plus.
-Working exposure in an application development environment.
