.NET Application Developer – Quant Applications
The candidate for this position will implement and support applications related to Quant analysis, portfolio management, Client Reporting in a .NET environment to establish an Intranet for the Firm. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills. The client puts a premium on congenial interpersonal relations and decorum.
The candidate will be capable of working independently with Traders and Operations personnel in understanding their business requirements and developing applications to solve business problems.
We are looking for an intelligent, motivated person with excellent computer and interpersonal skills who posses the follow qualifications:
Experience: • At least Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well versed in Microsoft .NET structure
• Experience with C#, Visual Basic
• Web page development for Intranet
• Microsoft SQL server for database (Oracle or Sybase would be acceptable also)
• Experience in Financial Industry a plus. Any experience with financial engineering or Quant applications would be a plus.
• Mathematically oriented individual who can understand Investment formulas.
• Quick learner of the business
