Consultant Tasks and Duties
1) The Consultant will assist in the redesign of the NIS counties and voluntaries to a single point of entry to the state and to provide a more secure and reliable network. The Consultant will assist in designing and implementing complex network components while ensuring continued operation of network access.
2) The Consultant will facilitate and ensure the successful transfer of knowledge from the Consultant to staff.
3) The Consultant will report to Management who will be responsible for maintaining control over the Consultant's work duties, schedule, and performance.
4) Consultant will submit required reports, as defined by client.
5) The Consultant will be responsible for daily backups of any data and/or
software developed as a result of their tasks.
6) Consultant will attend periodic (i.e. weekly) status meetings.

Technical Requirements/Mandatory:
The Vendor's proposed Consultants must meet at a minimum, the following requirements,
1. The Contractor's proposed Consultants must meet, at a minimum, the requirements of the OGS contract for a Specialist II
2. Five years experience with TCP/IP
3. Five years experience with VLAN technology
4. Five years experience with VPN technology
5. Five years experience with routers, switches and firewalls
6. Two years experience with SSLVPN devices
Experience: Desirable Experience
1. Four Years of installation, configuration and maintenance of McAfee IPS
2. Four Years of installation, configuration and maintenance of McAfee Global Manager
3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
4. Juniper Networking Certified Internet Associate for SSLVPN certification
5. Five years experience configuration of Juniper/Netscreen firewalls
6. Five years direct experience with network design using Cisco switch and router products
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to Transfer Knowledge as provided in Proposal.
