Job Description: Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our client, a leading financial services firm located in NYC on a Full time basis. In this Business Analyst role, you be working in the Fixed Income Technology group responsible for all front, middle and Back Office applications and systems that are used to support Fixed Income business globally. The product offering includes Government Bonds, interest rate swaps, basis swaps, interest rate options and swaptions, FRAs and caps/floors. You will analyze business requirements and underlying business context, write functional specifications, document technical solutions and provide support for technical design and testing for both regional and global initiatives. This will require liaise with all levels of users as well as IT. Experience working on projects/systems which require knowledge of Trade capture, VaR, P&L reporting. Experience: Required Skills/Experience:- Knowledge of interest rate derivative and fixed income products is required.- Work with traders, Risk, Program Management Office (PMO) and IT.- Take lead role with minimum supervision.- Manage personnel from other areas to ensure analysis is comprehensive and complete.- Experience with structured analysis techniques, able to produce process/workflow diagrams, use cases and use case diagrams when required.- Experience of UML and Object Oriented Analysis and Design.This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team.
