FIX' F&O Technical Support specialist (2232)6 Months Contract in New York City, NY 10011Local candidates and Permanent residents only eligible for this roleJob Description :-With deep skills in Networking and Unix. Exposure to FIX and GL is a plus.Typically troubleshooting production issues.Candidate will be required to assimilate many proprietary trading/clearing technologies in a short amount of time and be able to pick up business domain knowledge. Must be a team player, but also a self-starter, as there are many mini-projects where candidate will be the only resource. Communication and writing skills will be strongly emphasized, as we will be working very closely with business analysts and directly with the business. Much of the candidates work will be focused on supporting clients via telephone.Proficiency in dealing with standard Unix tools and shells is important.
