Testing Lead 7 years test analyst experience in an IT organization. 5 years leading test efforts on medium - large scale projects and coordinating staff. Experience testing large business system updates and project management experience Delivers quality functionality within specified timeframes; using the Mercury suite of tools (TestDirector/Quality Center , QuickTest Professional and LoadRunner) to support testing on projects. Serves as an integral member of an enterprise-wide testing team, and is responsible for following established standards and best practices, and reporting testing results clearly and accurately. Leads testing on medium - large-scale projects; including creation of detailed testing schedule, coordinating, coaching & supporting all IT and Business testing resources. Participates in requirements gathering/reviews, and designs, develops and executes manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality of clients core applications and systems. Performs risk assessment, impact analysis and works with technical and business personnel to resolve issues and develop mitigation plans. Candidate will provide assistance to IT personnel and business partners in the use of templates and tools. Acts as initial point of escalation for project testing issues, documents defects and works with developers, business users and project team to resolve issues. Participates in process improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor s Degree or equivalent combination of education and business experience required in Health Care/Business Administration, Software Quality Assurance, Computer Science or related field. 7 years test analyst experience in an IT organization. 5 years leading test efforts on medium-large scale projects and coordinating test resources. Ability to successfully adapt & apply industry best practices/concepts while addressing constraints of organizational, political and technical hurdles. Experienced in testing large business system updates and changes and working multiple projects simultaneously. In depth knowledge and thorough understanding of formal testing methodologies and best practices. Working knowledge of automated testing framework using HP/Mercury Interactive or similar toolset. Macess, Facets, and Lawson experience a plus. Excellent project management, time management, troubleshooting and analytical skills. Highly self-motivated and directed, with exceptional customer service orientation and a dedication to meeting deadlines and ensuring quality delivery. Excellent interpersonal skills: (eg, partnering, conflict management, mentoring), with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to interact with all levels of business, technical and end users. Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently, and possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments. Formal best practice (ie. ITIL, CMMi, etc.) experience, or Software Testing Certification desired.
