Java Developer in Rochester, NY

This is a contract to hire position. Your US work status must make you eligible to work for Ajilon Consulting on a W2 basis until client hires you directly. No sponsorship or H1B transfers looking for very solid Java skills. The should be able to write sw that is efficient from a performance standpoint. Performance is key to everything for him. since all of the data is in HUGE Oracle databases, the resource needs to have very strong skills in writing queries using SQL to pull data that is made available to the applications. Again, performance is key. They need to be able to write tight queries and tune queries to be efficient. They should also be able to create materialized views. Experience: Required: . 3-5 years of Java programming / J2EE experience . Must have very strong database and SQL skills - they will be working with complex databases (normalized models, 100's of tables). Must be able to read complex data models or ERD diagrams. Must have object relational modeling experience. . Must have experience with a source code control tool and know how to merge conflicting changes. Preferred: . Experience writing EJB's (stateless Session Beans) from scratch' (not simply using tools). Excellent understanding of session beans, container managed beans, etc. .
