Senior IT Project Manager in New York, NY

An established IT solutions company seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to oversee and manage a large Data Center Relocation project in the New York City area. This visible role will be experienced in managing IT projects at an enterprise level, experienced in compiling a cohesive project team and manage the team throughout the life cycle. Essential Functions Include: Manage an enterprise data center relocation project. Engage the customer at an executive level; Able to create, plan and articulate project plans with defined deliverables; Work with internal stakeholders in documenting the requirements. Deliver requirements to operation team Manage the creation of move documentation. Manage project budgets Head meetings with all stakeholders Qualifications include: 5 years experience leading enterprise IT projects, specifically data center relocation experience. Experience managing client relationship within the IT service industry Planning and organizational skills Strong written and oral communication skills Strong customer focus Able to travel nationally when needed PMP certification not required but preferred.
