Genesis10 is seeking 2 Core Java Developers for our client, a major Investment Bank located in New York City on a full-time basis. As the Core Java Developers, you will be the key players to work on a Real-time Trading Platform. This team is designing a real-time trading and High Availability Trading Platform with multiple aspects including Quoting, STP, Risk, Pricing and Trade Execution. This team is considered the firms "elite" troubleshooting and development team. The chance for growth potential in the next few years is enormous. This job is paying 90k-115K plus bonus depending on experience. Responsibilities - Framework development and migration to help build a New Strategy Trading Platform. - Help to develop pricing models for assorted bonds, including Agency, Government. Will also work with Bond Derivatives, Treasuries, and Futures. - Help document and maintain a common used analytical libraries and calculation modules. - This role requires large amounts of interaction with the Traders and other Front Office Business Users. Experience: - 2+ Years of CORE JAVA (JDK 1.4 and 1.5), Multi-Threaded Programming, and JMS or other Middleware. - 1+ Year Scripting (Perl/Shell). - Fixed Income knowledge, including Treasuries, Futures, Bonds, etc. - Desired Experience/Skills: - Masters or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science or related. - ANT, Maven, IDEs and any Open Source Software.
