This application processes data in the log files generated by our transaction servers, and publishes reporting data into a Database.
Job Description:
This job entails software design, development and implementation of a distributed real time event processing system
Role & Responsibilities:
Design, Code, Test and provide Production Support of Software Applications
Interact with Business units to gather requirements
Work in conjunction with off-shore teams to meet project deadlines
Participate in SCRUM meetings and discuss status on tasks at hand
Provide Application Support on an as-needed basis
Minimum Job Requirements / Skills:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
3 to 5 years experience in designing applications employing established methodologies and developing software using C, C++ and other software tools.
UNIX Shell Scripting
Perl Scripting
Working knowledge of SQL
Optional Skills:
ETL experience a definite plus
Ab-Initio or similar tools
Data Warehousing
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
