C#/VB.Net Developer in New York, NY

Individual will work closely with application developers in LIT CFG & FIG to maintain and further develop the financial application, databases and associated processes to support internal analytics and client-facing research products. Responsibilities include maintaining and developing financial application, database and stored procedures. Develop financial analytic using .Net Technologies (C#) VBA, Excel. Maintain Web application under Unix, using Java, JavaScript, C, C++ & Perl. Experience: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Systems, Engineering, or Information Mgmt. The successful candidate will have BOTH strong SQL skills combined with solid experience with Sybase 12 or later version, and Microsoft SQL Server 7 / 2000. Work experience in financial application using .Net Technologies (C#, VB.net), Visual Basic for Application (VBA) and Excel Macros, C, C++, Perl. Additional expertise in Unix and in developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML.
