A New York State Agency is searching for a Programmer to assist the Project Leader in the development of management and planning reports for the web. Some responsibilities will include:
Consult with staff to define the scope of required management reports
Integrate data from various data sets for analysis of outcomes
Conduct exploratory analyses of existing management reports and recommend changes in how IT delivers these reports to maximize IT's effectiveness in the department's knowledge sharing efforts
Conduct analyses of data to examine trends, variability and validity of data to determine if changes to current business model are required
Develop and produce reports of analyses conducted for program staff
Design and develop reports for display on the portal
Consult with information technology staff on optimal approaches to display data on the portal
Prepare ad hoc reports and conduct ad hoc analyses as requested
Prepare presentations of analytic findings as requested
Provide technical support for professionals as needed
Experience: Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with the following:
SQL Programming
SAS Programming in multivariate procedures
HTML Programming
Data and requirements analysis
At least one year of experience with Oracle Portal and Informatica ETL are required.
Desired Skills:
Candidates are preferred to have the following knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
