A New York State Agency is searching for a Project Manager who will assume responsibility as a project leader in the analysis of an existing system and develop a concise plan to create new tables. This will include developing analytical tools necessary for tracking the impact of state program. The Project Manager will analyze user needs and develop web-based reporting tools to permit user-friendly access to data. They will perform necessary modifications for loading logic and developing an electronic data element dictionary for the user community. They will also be responsible for the following:
Coordinate and delegate the assignments for a consultant project staff (over 10)
Focal point of contact regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, scope changes, and financial / administrative / technical issues and concerns raised by staff

*This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week. Experience: Skills Required:
Candidates must have of experience with the following:
At least 4 years experience in overseeing medium-scaled projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables
At least 4 years experience in a particular technical and/or business application
At least 2 years as project leader in the development and implementation of a large Oracle Data Warehouse containing confidential data of at least 5 TB in size
At least 1 year experience designing and conducting Joint Application (JAD) sessions with end users to determine system specifications
Certified Oracle DBA in a Unix OS environment
