The Internal Consulting Team is committed in supporting this premier Global Investment Management organization by partnering with business units to improve the firm's performance. Through quality analysis they provide an objective view, challenge the status quo and offer creative solutions to maximize efficiency and profitability.
This individual will work with internal clients by providing business expertise, change management understanding and quality analysis, design, recommendations to business opportunities and issues. Typical projects are cross-functional in nature and address corporate issues and goals.
The senior consultant role provides the opportunity to make a positive impact on the organization by utilizing your analytical, creative problem solving and communication skills.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
· Manage functional and cross-functional projects of varying scales. Develop and track project plans, budgets and work schedules and manage relationships with internal clients.
· Extensive data gathering and analysis; find solutions by considering alternatives, taking into account the benefits and costs of recommendations
· Write detailed reports and provide quantitative and qualitative evidence to support conclusions
· Communicate and coordinate projects with a variety of business and technology areas.
· Professionally represent the Internal Consulting group's business philosophies, protocols, and standards to internal client colleagues/associates.
Qualifications:
This position requires a high energy, results-oriented individual. Must be able to work independently, be a creative thinker, very organized and comfortable challenging processes and people at all levels of the organization. Must be able to work on several projects simultaneously
· Good general understanding of business and financial principles
· Ability to lead and facilitate multiple activities and resources
· Communicate written and orally in a manner which is clear, concise and professional
· Experience in working across multiple disciplines
· Excellent project management skills, including identifying resource requirements, timelines and budgets
· Ability to manage individuals both directly and indirectly
· Ability to leverage technology in solving business problems
· 8-10 years internal or external Consulting experience required
· Strong technical aptitude and displayed and technologies
· PC proficiency including advanced Excel, PowerPoint and database management preferred
