Premier White Plains Asset Management Leader seeks exceptional Business Analyst to join their Investment Operations Team.
The Business Analyst is responsible for scoping, planning, initiating, and executing projects within the Investment Management and Brokerage Operations organization. These projects are undertaken to improve efficiency, reduce risk, or provide improved customer service. Each project is typically 3 to 6 months in duration and contains an analysis phase where the organization's current processes are investigated and critiqued, a solution phase where systems and organizational improvements are designed and vetted, and an implementation phase where the solutions are deployed in the organization. The selected individual will often be responsible for multiple projects and will work closely with front line business staff, business managers, senior managers, other business analysts, and internal software development resources.

Specific Responsibilities:
. Manage projects from inception to completion
. Analyze and document business processes.
. Lead assessments of current business processes to identify and implement process improvements
. Present findings and recommendations to management team
. Develop detailed functional requirement and design documents including business rules, assumptions, constraints
. Liaison between business users and technical staff throughout project lifecycle.
. Lead system testing and user acceptance testing
. Must be flexible to travel (less than 5% and predominantly in the Metro-NYC area)

Requirements:
. College degree
. 3-5 years relevant work experience; including:
. 2+ years Management Consulting or Business Analysis experience
. Experience improving business processes and developing functional specifications for software development
. Experience managing small / mid-size projects
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
. Detail-oriented and ability to work well under time constraints and with multiple projects.
. Comfort and competence in dealing with all levels of the organization
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
. Intermediate MS Office skills.
. Familiarity with relational databases and software development tools and methodologies.

Desired Skills:
. PMP Certification
. Experience with 6-Sigma or similar structured process improvement methodologies
. Investment Management, Custody, or Sell Side Broker Dealer experience
