Our client has such Market Data feeds such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Thompson Financial with in their environment. Experience: <FONT COLOR=teal> <h2> MARKET DATA ENGINEER </H2> <h3> CONTRACT TO HIRE </H3> </FONT> <H3> RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS: </H3> <UL> <LI>Excellent working experience with trade floor technology, at least 3 years of experience, specifically with in a Financial company/organization. <li>Excellent exposure with developtment and evaluation of specific market data applications with an environment. <li>Solid understanding of System Administration including Unix Sun Solaris, Linux (Redhat and Suse), Windows (All flavors including NT/2000/2003). <li>Experience with testing applications and how they operate on Servers, Operating systems, and with other applications. <li>Excellent understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, Firewall (cisco Pix, Checkpoint on Nokia), <li>Strong communication and presentation skills.
