Summary of Position-Technical Project Manager Looking for a Technical Project Manager to support the investment advisory activities of a large private bank. The individual should possess the following knowledge/skills: Principal Accountabilities: - Project management--maintain plan, manage issues, allocate resources and report to project sponsor. - Requirements analysis and documentation--understand/capture business requirements relating to portfolio management and risk systems. - Vendor management--understand available tools/data supporting portfolio management activities. Manage vendor deliverables and vendor interaction with the business unit. - - Experienced in system implementations and system conversions. - Documentation--prepare requirements document as well as project tracking documents. - Create training and user guides. - Quality assurance--oversee UAT. Prepare and execute test cases/test plans in support of UAT. - Knowledge of portfolio management, risk management and performance measurement. Especially knowledgeable in client reporting. Familiarity with security reference data/products. - Must possess strong communication skills as the candidate will be expected to liaise with portfolio managers and operations personnel. - Knowledge of the FMC PACER and/or RISKMETRICS systems is desired but not required. Experience: Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field. - Project Management Institution (PMI) certification or certification in progress. - Minimum of three years experience that includes full life cycle business systems-solution development and implementation. - Previous experience supporting an investment advisory group a strong plus.
