Global publisher of business to business journals seeks a business analyst for its US Books division. High exposure role with top of the line salary and benefits package with rapid advancement potential for the right candidate
Purpose of role:
To support the US books team and senior management accountant for US Medicine in achieving its financial targets and objectives. This will achieved by ensuring the US books senior management team understand both the historic performance of their business together with future prospects and by assisting their decision making to achieve those goals
Key Accountabilities:
• Reporting – provision of a range of financial information to support the business. This specifically includes adherence to the Group reporting timetable
• Financial Records/Reconciliations – ensuring timely provision of supporting financial documents and analysis to reconcile appropriate accounts.
• Compliance – ensuring the processes undertaken in producing the accounts are in accordance with Group accounting policy, correct internal procedures and legal requirements
• Customer interface / Query resolution – provision of financial information and support to both internal and external customer groups
• Forecast and Budget preparation, working closely with books team.
• Balance sheet reconciliations where appropriate
• Maintaining audit file in suitable format for external audit and internal auditors
• Assisting with statutory/regulatory reporting requirements where appropriate.
