ERP Business Process Analyst in White Plains, NY

A Reinsurance company based out of White Plains New York is looking for a Business Process Analyst with experience in ERP solutions.

Candidates must have experience with a specific EPR package, any should do, with proven skills in process redesign for an entire function / large enterprise. Ideally they would be looking for candidates from a "shared service organizations" or the Big 4.

Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting shared services leadership in identifying and exploiting opportunities to improve operational efficiency across all global shared services functions. This includes capturing, analyzing, and documenting business processes and functional/data requirements. This also includes the design and implementation of reengineered workflows, as well as business project and change management support for the implementation of new workflows and systems. This is an important role within our shared services organization that requires a very "hands on" approach given our start-up nature.

The initial areas of focus for this position will be within the Finance and Human Resources shared services areas, where this individual will be expected to provide robust business analysis skills and techniques to assist functional content experts in defining and planning their shared services and operational efficiency efforts. Over time, this person will also work within the Procurement, Information Technology, Actuarial, Legal, Marketing & Communications, and other shared functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Define and implement a "light" process reengineering framework (e.g., Lean) and then pilot the framework within the context of the immediate business focus areas (e.g., Finance).
2.Collaborate with IT to clarifying "best practice" business analysis deliverables to enable optimal communications between business and IT organizations.
3.Work with shared service leaders to identify operational efficiency improvements and to develop the associated business case for change
4.Facilitate structured, multi-disciplined focus group sessions to define, prioritize and document business requirements, and to convert those business requirements into potential business solutions
5.Interview business users, analyze and document business/system requirements and workflows as part of specific operational efficiency and shared services initiatives
6.Develop project plans to implement improved process flows and systems
7.Play critical business process leadership role in implementing the recommended projects
8.Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
9.Travel as required.



Experience: Qualifications:

.Strong problem-solving and analysis skills with deep experience in workflow reengineering (e.g., LEAN 6 Sigma).
.Strong shared services and/or back office operations experience (e.g., Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, etc.), including experience implementing ERP solutions (e.g., HR or Finance self-service). Finance experience and skills are particularly valuable.
.Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an understanding of the terminology, business functions and processes is ideal but not mandatory
.Proven project and change management experience
.Excellent executive presence and communication skills, both written and verbal.
.Very strong interpersonal relationship, team building, collaboration and facilitation skills. Proven track record of working with IT.
