Operate as a spokesperson for requirement analysis and interact with product development to gather and manage the requirements for end-user functionality. Create test requirements using industry standards and best practices for software development life cycle.
Essential Functions—
• Consult with product development staff to build an understanding of the varied and complex business functionality supported by the system
• Write test requirements following the use case methodology
• Define, manage and review the test requirements for multiple projects
• Develop, provide and coordinate training on test methodology
• Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge
• Develop effective relationships within and among departments and with other internal resources
Experience: Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience—
• 2 years of recent experience writing test requirements, following the use case methodology
• Experience with Windows and Web based application development
• Experience with UML
• Must possess organizational skills and strong communications skills both written and verbal
• Ability to develop effective relationships within and among departments and with other internal resources
• Must be a team player
• Presentation and training skills a plus
• Must possess a positive attitude and be confident
• Minimum of 2-5 years experience with application development
• Experience with Rational Rose a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering preferred
• General advertising knowledge or experience a plus
Note: The potential candidate's experience should be more in Use Case usage, Requisite Pro knowledge and manual test case writing background. We are not necessarily looking for someone w/an automated testing technical background, rather someone w/analytical capabilities.
