A well known Financial Service company in the New York City area is looking for an Interactive Designer.

Interactive Design Technologist
Company is seeking an Interactive Design Technologist for the Media Design team, which is responsible for the design, information architecture, user experience, and front-end design of the global websites.

The Interactive Design Technologist will leverage design and development skills in a fast-paced, news-centric environment. The role will focus on building and maintaining the front-end experience - the pages, modules, stylesheets, scripts, and templates that drive the global news sites.

The ideal candidate is a talented front-end developer with good design sensibilities, capable of adapting quickly to provide creative solutions. Good communication skills are a must, as the role involves significant interaction within a multi-faceted, cross-functional group of business, marketing, editorial, design, and development team members.

Must be a team player
Strong HTML and CSS skills
Strong Javascript/dHTML skills
Strong general scripting skills - JSP, ASP
Good communication skills
Good Flash/Actionscript skills
Experience with Java Server Pages/JSTL
Experience with Content Management Systems
Experience with XML/RSS
Basic Photoshop skills
Familiarity with News/Media environments
Familiarity with interface/information design
Other programming, design, tech skills a plus

Photo Shop

JSP Skills

News Industry Experience

Years of Experience Required:

2 to 4 years experience in Web Design or Web Development.

College Degree is required.
