There are several databases that have been created that need to be rebuilt and developed to meet the current needs of users and offices. These databases are used to assist and communicate in providing excellent customer service to our customers. Rebuilding these databases, managing the backups, providing data security and optimizing the availability of data sets will enable us to solve a variety of our Access, Visual Basic, and SQL server issues.
Experience: 4 years experience, creating, developing and administrating databases in MS Access 2003 or higher in a Microsoft XP operating system environment.
2 years experience, programming in Microsoft Visual Basic. Include a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Access and DAO object libraries
1 year experience developing and administrating databases for SQL Server 2000 and higher.
Experience in analyzing MS Access databases for upsizing and documenting the analysis for management review and approval.
Experience in Database integration (3rd party software) with MS Access using SQL server DB and/or Oracle 9i/10g.
Experience managing database backups, providing data security and/or optimizing the availability of data sets.
Experience with the use of the Microsoft Access database upsizing wizard.
