VB.NET / C# Developer
We are a small but world class software company, serving a wide range of clients, in need of highly motivated self-starters to develop and maintain web and mobile device based applications.
We are seeking Programmers to join our development team. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment to develop a wide range of custom applications.
Required Skills
* Flawless knowledge of the .NET Compact Framework 1.0 and 2.0 with both C# and VB.NET
* Full working knowledge of Visual Studio 2005 (and 2003)
* Knowledge of SOAP/REST Web Service technologies
* Very experienced with the .NET Framework 2.0 using C# and VB.NET
Desirable Skills
* Experienced with ClickOnce deployment technologies. NSIS is a plus
* Experienced with SQL. MySQL experience a big plus
* Working knowledge of ADO.NET 2.0 is a plus
* Asynchronous multi-threaded programming is a big plus
* Experience with delegates, thread pool threads, AutoResetEvents and Marshaling
* Experience with bar code laser scanning devices a big plus.
* Working knowledge of Linux a big plus
Most of our work is currently done in VB.Net and C#, but you'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge base to include other technologies as well.
You must be intuitive and proactive, with excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
