UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a .Net Programmer/Web Developer to join our Brooklyn, NY team. Applicants should possess a minimum of 4 years experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, and software conversions. The primary responsibility will be to create project plans for, as well as program, develop, document and maintain, internet web-based applications. Environments on the project include but are not limited to mainframe, mid range, personal computers, and laptops. The selected candidate will assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions as well as perform project management tasks in the following areas:
. Create and maintain dynamic, interactive web applications using the Microsoft .Net framework
. Create and maintain related project documentation using Share Point and Microsoft Project 2000 management tools
. External and interagency interfacing to gather project specs and requirements
. QA applications in accordance with web application standards
Qualified candidates MUST possess the following skills and experiences:
. Advanced Microsoft .Net framework programming, including XML C#, and ASP.Net
. Visual Studio .Net and Visual Source Safe
. SQL Server 2000
. Experience in Content Management Solutions
. Web design, including HTML, CSS, DHTML/JavaScript
. Excellent written and oral communication skills
Candidates with the following desired skills and experiences will be considered first:
. Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certificate helpful but not required.
