Quality Assurance Associate in NEW YORK, NY

The QA Analyst will work as a member of a team to ensure the quality of financial software systems for major investment banks. The Analyst will work closely with the development group, business analysts and technology teams.

Primary Responsibilities
* Assist with the testing life cycle (creation of test scripts, regression/performance testing, defect mgmt, result reporting).
* Involved with the creation of test plans, test scenarios and use cases.
* Translate business requirements into test cases.
* Collaborate with development in the design and execution of the QA Life Cycle. Experience: Job Qualifications
* Basic understanding of testing methodology.
* Ability to quickly adapt technical concepts and understanding of product architecture.
* Knowledge of relational database, SQL, and web technologies.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent problem solving abilities.
