Job Description:
Lead the design and implementation of an Equities data warehouse using IBM's UDB RDBMS.
Work closely with members of the Equities Orders and Executions System (OES) team to understand requirements, help develop the schema definitions and build the load processes.
Work closely with database engineering team to help specify the UDB server requirements regarding hardware, disk space, performance, etc.
Work with teams in London, Tokyo, and India to help globalize the effort.
Work closely with a team of offshore resources who will help with the implementation.
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WORK EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY FOR CONSIDERATION:
. Proven experience implementing high volume (10MM records/day) data warehouse systems utilizing IBM's UDB RDBMS.
. 7 years of industry experience.
. Strong data modeling skills.
. Proven experience working with and managing an offshore team.
. Experience working with equities trading systems a huge plus.
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
. Self motivated, team player
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
