BearingPoint has several opportunities available for Peregrine Consultants/Sr. Consultants. Responsibilities include assisting engagement teams in understanding business requirements, assessing as-is business process flows and documenting and validating these flows with the client.
Additional responsibilities include: · Translating business requirements into functional and technology requirements.
· Developing technology with respect to trouble management within the managed environment.
· Training end-users in the use of the technology by mapping business/functional requirements to the functionality provided in the tool.
· Assisting the practice with identifying new opportunities in terms of business development, generating proposals for sales and helping the practice staff new engagements.
Requirements: Must have 3-7 years of experience implementing Peregrine solutions including experience in AssetCenter and ServiceCenter.
Must have an understanding of technologies in the Data (Frame Relay, ATM, DSL/DSLAMs), Transport (SONET, DWDM), TDM switching.
Previous professional consulting experience preferred.
Programming background a plus (Java, C++)
Preference will be given to candidates in the Northeast (NY, NJ, MA) or Mid Atlantic regions (NC, MD, VA, PA).
