Our client has an immediate need for an Auto Cad Designer / Drafter. As an Auto Cad Designer / Drafter, you will be responsible for the following: ? Prepares maps, drawings, permits, and layouts of land base, facilities, space, apparatus and equipment for new fiber designs using AutoCAD Map 3D 2007. Maintain computer generated CAD files according to company standards ? Work within Oracle GIS spatial land data base using AutoCAD 3rd party software Lode Data ? Performing complex design assignments from work orders given ? Maintain project schedules and report progress as required ? Prepares moderate to complex drawings or diagrams from data and specifications as submitted by contractor, sales and project managers ? Plotting and printing of maps, detailed drawings, and presentations ? Work in conjunction with engineers and contractors ? Performs additional functions incidental to drafting activities ? Alters existing drawings to suit engineering changes and processes engineering change requests ? Create and revise proposal, engineering and production documents ?
