Job Title: Project Manager - Equities

Job Summary:

Manage the planning, reviewing and assessing of initial project requests and business requirements for Equities Tech IT team faced with the challenge of balancing the local Operational enhancement needs and new product development.

- Manage multiple large, complex projects with significant impact on the enterprise
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Analyze business unit technology needs, dissecting the most complex problems and suggest process-oriented solutions
- Serve as SME in all aspects of project management methodology and tools, as well as resource management practices and change management techniques
- Track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports
- Actively identify issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution
- Serve interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives
- Serve as initial point of escalation for all project management issues
- Assist senior level PM's management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload
- Manage multiple projects from multiple constituents at the same time.
Requirements :

- Three to Five years of prior project management and consulting experience (progressive work experience in a Capital Markets preferred)
- Detail and results oriented with a structured approach to planning and organization
- Strong communication (verbal & written) and influencing skills
- Knowledgeable of trading operations / Good EQUITIES knowledge
- Comprehension of end to end Back Office operations, processes and workflows
- Skills in Microsoft Office, ability to create documents and presentations, develop spreadsheet cost models, ROI analysis and project justifications
- Ability to create and present executive level reports and presentations
- Ensure collaboration efforts with Operations and Front Office IT teams are successful
- Foster team building with ability to build relationships and influence others
