Position Title: CRM Data Supervisor (NY)

Classification: Marketing Support Staff

Supervisory Responsibility: CRM Data Steward(s)
General Responsibilities. The CRM Data Supervisor will work within the Marketing Department to administer and maintain the Firm's Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, with primary responsibility for ensuring data integrity across the Firm. The general purpose of CRM is to enable the organization to better manage client relationships. The CRM Data Supervisor will be responsible for proactively developing and managing data concerning these relationships. The CRM Data Supervisor will assist Business Development Managers, Marketing Director and Managers, Practice Group Leaders, and Attorneys.

1. Establish and maintain effective processes, standards and procedures for data governance to improve and maintain integrity of CRM data;
2. Assist with daily data quality monitoring procedures, including maintaining Data Steward inbox, checking for duplicate contacts, merging duplicate contacts, and names, standardizing address data, and ensuring that necessary data fields are populated;
3. Researching and processing changes and following up with users when necessary, including working closely with firm marketing department personnel, attorneys and other Firm personnel;
4. Actively enhance contact information by conducting internal and external research;
5. Serve as primary liaison for end user questions pertaining to data quality, list management and other general CRM user issues;.
6. Develop and provide ad hoc reports to support marketing and business development initiatives, including mailing lists and events;
7. Develop and execute initiatives to drive Firm wide adoption and use of the CRM system;
8. Establish and maintain a "partnership" between Firm business initiatives and the use of information technology.
Requirements: This position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience managing client data, preferably working with legal specific or similar databases in a professional services environment. Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently and contribute to team projects. This position requires strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to multi-task and work under pressure with changing deadlines. Outstanding communication skills are imperative as are proficient skills with Microsoft Office software products including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint. An undergraduate degree is required or a combination of further education and more than 4 years of relevant work experience is acceptable. An undergraduate degree or equivalent training and experience are required.
